Just a Moment, Let's Talk!

 I really think that the passing of the law that requires women to have a sonogram before their abortion was a waste of time. The time that could have been spent budgeting for Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood was cut out and it is severly needed to the low income women. It provides a yearly pelvic exam, sexually transmitted disease tests, and birth control at a very low cost. The focus on abortion was the wrong direction on Rick Perry's call. Rick Perry is not the right candidate for Texas Gov or any other state for that matter. He has let too many budget cuts happen in the wrong areas.                                                  

So I'm a product junkie and my mom doesn't make it any better by finding new products for me to try on my hair every other month! So I been using this since Easter and I really love it. I have only been using this on my hair for the past month. My hair stays soft and moisturized the whole day. The shampoo is the best shampoo I have used in a very long time. It was very hydrating and I never got the dry feeling after I dried my hair. The curl smoothie is the best because it keeps my curls hydrated.  AND I found the coconut and hibiscus line at walgreens for 10 per bottle. You can also locate it at target too! The whole line is sulfate, parabean, petroleum and mineral oil free! I smells really great also! You really cant beat the price for the quality of the product.

So I'm trying to be calm. I just got off the phone with student employment for my summer job form and I'm a bit pissed. I talked to a woman at the office two weeks ago and she told me that I needed to use the summer hire form for the summer job after I told her that the packet wasn't up on the website yet. She said the packet would be up by 5 P.M. that day. Well it was not up till that next week. So I go to see if the packet is online and it was with the link working and everything. I did not print it at that moment because I just didn't. SO I go back to print the packet the next day and the link is gone again! SO I called today and I asked why the summer hire packet was not there and the girl on the phone says it is. I said no it's not and she said you have to use the rehire packet. I was clearly told not to use the rehire packet two weeks ago and that I would have to wait till they fixed the link to get the packet. MIND you that this is time sensitive paperwork th...

I have to say that I am not very happy that she has her own network. I don't get to watch Mystery ER, Trauma: life in the ER, Untold Stories of the ER..anything ER or medical SUPER SAD FACE :( I mean I looked up and down the TV guide and it only lists Mystery Diagnosis 2 times a day and that is the only medical shows on the network. What a bummer I mean I really didn't like to watch her 1 time a day. URGH why couldn't she get her "OWN" network. Was Discovery Health really in debt or something?? I emailed Discovery Health to see if someone would reply so I'm waiting for a response. I'm really serious about this issue because I like watching those shows and I know for a fact that I'm not the only one mad that Discovery Health is no longer an option. It's bad enough that there are no real tv networks showing anything worth anything these days. Well I guess I can look forward to watching The Game on BET on the 11th. I'm so excited about it coming...

FIRST post of the YEARRRRR!!!!!! I had sooo much fun spending time with my friends and family yesterday. We had mixed drinks and played taboo and watched some fireworks. I'm really excited about this new year and just the feeling of starting over. I feel really good about this year :")

Just thought I would post something for the last day of the year...I also have another resolution for the new year, and that is to take better care of my skin!  I found this recipe for a homemade mask and toner for acne and it really has worked. I've used it every other day this week and my skin is smooth and the acne on my cheeks is gone. This is the video: This is definitely going on the list of my routine plus it isn't hard to make and it's natural :) Now all I need to do for the rest of the day is figure out how I will spend the last day of the year. Hummmmmmm.... I'll update on what I do. 

SO.....I've been thinking alot about how I'm going to succeed next semester, MCAT ( currently studying for it), going to summer school, and what it would be like to be a family medicine physician. Just a lot on my mind I guess because I'm not so occupied with school. I've also been thinking about how far I've come and very grateful for this journey. I'm having good feelings about next semester I feel it will be far better. I just need to prepare my mind to stay organized and stay focused focused focused..I cannot stress that enough. I gotta stay focused. I'm not going to pretend that staying focused is easy for me because it is not. My mind wanders a lot because I can get bored with something easily if I don't get the concept (physics is a good example) lol sadly. I'll get through it though.
